Stephen Topp
Stephen is an assistant coach with the McMaster fencing team. He is also an alumni of the team, and was its MVP in 1998-99 and 1999-2000. He works mostly with the foil teams.
Stephen still fences competitively on the Ontario Challenge Circuit and on the Open circuit. He is currently ranked 40th in foil in the Canadian Domestic Rankings, and finished last season ranked 53rd in men's foil and 63rd in men's sabre in the Canadian Domestic Rankings..
Stephen's top result of the 2002-03 season was a gold medal performance at the OCC Finals. He also won medals at Winterfun, Decemberfest and the Ryerson OCC. More impressively, he won $50 at the sabre Fred Wach event.
